“We will give tickets to Somabhai Patel, K Manjunath and HT Sangliana and Manorama Madhwaraj, who were expelled from BJP for cross-voting or abstaining during Tuesday's trust vote,” a party functionary said on condition of anonymity.

Patel (Surendranagar), Sangliana (Bangalore North) and Manjunath (Dharwad South) defied the party whip and voted in favour of the trust motion while Madhwaraj (Udupi) was absent during the voting.

The Congress would also consider giving ticket to Telugu Desham Party (TDP) MP M Shivanna, who voted in support of the government, the party functionary said.
