Four touts from Bihar were on Sunday arrested from a hotel here for allegedly leaking question papers of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) exam for Ajmer Assistant Station Master (ASM) post.
"Acting on a tip-off a team of Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force and Bhopal Crime Branch raided hotel Rajdoot and arrested four persons from Bihar and seized the question papers of the exam," Bhopal Superintendent of Police Jaideep Prasad told reporters.
He said the accused Mohammed Anwar Jafri, Ajit Kumar, Ajit Kumar Chourasia and Rajesh Kumar hail from Bihar's Vaishali, Shekpura, Nalanda and Chapra districts respectively.
However, the alleged kingpin of the gang who is a railway employee posted as Junior Engineer at Uttar Pradesh's Gonda gave a slip to the police as he left Bhopal before the raid, the SP said.
The four accused were carrying the photocopy of the objective-type question papers totalling eight pages of RRB Ajmer on which questions from serial number 21-100 were printed, he said.
