Four killed, dozen injured in bus accident

Four persons were on Monday killed and a dozen others injured when a Uttar Pradesh Roadways bus rammed into another bus in Gangaghat area, police said.

The incident occurred this morning when a stationary roadways bus overturned after being hit by another bus crushing four passengers on the spot, they said.

Police said that the victims were standing on the road as the Agra-bound bus, in which they were travelling, had developed a snag.

Two victims were identified as Ram Vilas (40) and Mohd Umar (28) and efforts were being made to ascertain identity of the two other victims, they said.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital, police said.
