Four Nigerians held for drug trafficking in Delhi

Cocaine worth Rs 5 lakhs in the International market was also seized from their possession.

Four Nigerian drug peddlers have been arrested on Sunday and cocaine worth Rs 5 lakhs in the International market seized from their possession, Narcotics Control Bureau officials said.

NCB officials arrested Peter Obey, Immannuel, Antony Chinado and Chime from Munirka and Uttam Nagar areas of south and west Delhi, they said.

The agency seized 142 grams of high quality cocaine from their possession. According to them, the apprehended persons were members of a drug trafficking racket active in several areas of the Capital.

Authorities have launched a crackdown on drug cartels in the Capital and have seized over 100 kgs of heroine besides huge quantities of cocaine in the last one month and arrested several persons in this connection.
