Free camp for organised

GS MEMORIAL Plastic Surgery Hospital and Trauma Centre would organize a free diagnosis and registration camp for operation of cleft-lip patients in Mahmoorganj area here on November 13. Director of the hospital and noted plastic surgeon, Dr Subodh Kumar Singh informed that more than 800 new cleft patients are likely to be registered in this camp. He claimed that they were operating more than 2500 cleft patients per year.

He said that keeping in view the significant role of GS Memorial Hospital, The Smile Train, a leading international organization working for the cause of cleft patients, has donated advanced clinical instruments of around Rs. 1 crore to the hospital. He said the president of The Smile Train, Brian Mullany and Vice-President, Deloise Greenwood would unveil these advanced instruments on November 13.

He further informed that they would also visit Varanasi, Chandauli and Mirzapur on November 14 and interact with the parents of cleft patients.
