Sourav Ganguly is likely to join the Indian team in Colombo on August 1, BCCI joint secretary Goutam Dasgupta said.

"Ganguly will not be able to play the first two matches. We are making arrangements to fly him to Sri Lanka on August 1," Dasgupta said.
"But we have to discuss the nitty-gritties about his travel plans before taking the final decision. We are taking the necessary action," Dasgupta said.
Ganguly is now eligible to play from India's third match after his six-match ban was reduced to four matches by ICC Disputes Resolution Commissioner Justice Albie Sachs.
