Gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli may be hiding some information about the plot hatched by starlet Preeti Jain to allegedly murder film director Madhur Bhandarkar.

A polygraph 'lie detector' test performed on him at Forensic Science Laboratory at Bangalore earlier this week has reportedly showed this.
The preliminary report of the polygraph test performed on Gawli on January 31 reached Mumbai Police on Thursday.
After looking at the report, police sources said the report indicated that what Gawli told police in a statement recorded with the Agripada police some months ago, may not be entirely true.
"The test has shown that Gawli's claim that he has no role to play in the Bhandarkar plot, will have to be taken with a pinch of salt," a senior police official said.
Saying that the test has provided important clues on further progress of the investigations in the case, the official did not rule out further questioning of Gawli in the case in near future.
"We may even press that Gawli undergo the brain-mapping test," he said.
