Girl jumps from Delhi CBSE building, dies

Khushboo, an 18-year-old resident of Mayapuri in northwest Delhi, jumped off the building situated in Preet Vihar shortly after 12:30 am and died on the spot, police said.

Distressed by her repeated failure in Board exams, a teenaged girl on Thursday allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the multi-storey CBSE building in east Delhi.

Khushboo, an 18-year-old resident of Mayapuri in northwest Delhi, jumped off the building situated in Preet Vihar shortly after 12:30 am and died on the spot, police said.

A suicide note left by her said she was committing suicide because of her repeated failure in class tenth examinations.

It was not immediately known what she was doing at the CBSE headquarters.
