Goa police on Sunday arrested a Delhi-based businessman for allegedly supplying fake High Security Registartion Plates (HSRP) in the state.

Ravi Somani, Director of Utsav Safety Systems was arrested at Vasant Vihar locality of Delhi at 0545 hours this morning, senior police officials of the state who are in Delhi told PTI.
"He will be brought to Goa by this evening. We have also started arresting the local dealers who were supplying these plates," Deputy Superintendent of Police, Umesh Gaonkar, said.
Goa police is also likely to arrest all the dealers installing these plates in the state, officials said.
"One dealer is already at Margao police custody, who was arrested last night," they said said.
Margao police, a town police station in Goa, had received complaint from the state transport department that Utsav Safety Systems Private Limited, were illegally installing high security registration plates in the state.
