Guns N' Roses to launch new album soon

The band's former guitarist, Slash says that its long-awaited album, Chinese Democracy, will hit shops in March.

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has confirmed that the long awaited new Guns N' Roses album will be released this spring.

Speaking on Virgin Radio, the guitarist revealed that after months of speculation Chinese Democracy will finally hit the shops in March.

"I'm really excited. Its been a long time waiting to see what the next step around the corner was going to be. Its coming out in March and apparently it sounds great," the Sun quoted Sash as saying.

Axl Rose is the only remaining original member of the band and has been working on Chinese Democracy for the past 10 years. Gn'R former bandmates include guitarist Slash, drummer Matt Sorum and bassist Duff McKagan have formed a new band Velvet Revolver.
