Gwalior boy tops PMT entrance examination...
KULDEEP SHARMA of Gwalior topped the all India Pre Medical Test (PMT) Entrance Examination-2006 of Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. The result was declared on Wednesday.

As per the results issued by the BHU administration at its website here on Wednesday, Kuldeep Sharma secured 301 marks out of total 400 marks and topped the merit list.
Prateek Gupta of Kota and Apurv Veer Sharma of Varanasi have secured second and third positions in this prestigious all-India level entrance examination.
Prateek has secured 294 marks whereas Apurv has secured 292 marks. Vivek Tiwari of Indore and Anand Prabhu of Mau have secured 4th and 5th positions in BHU-PMT.
In charge of BHU-PMT Entrance Examination, Prof AK Gulati said results of PMT were available on website of BHU www.bhu.nic.in and the PMT results were also displayed on IMS premises in BHU.
Sources said the counselling of the first list would be held on July 17. There are 55 seats of MBBS at IMS-BHU. Around 2500 students had appeared in the main examination of BHU-PMT at five centres in BHU on June 18. As many as 55 candidates including 42 general category, 9 SC and 4 ST have secured their position in the first list of PMT result.
The screening test of BHU-PMT was conducted at Varanasi, New Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad centres on May 10 last month.
More than 36,000 candidates had appeared in the screening test of BHU-PMT.
