Gyandas warns of boycotting royal bath

Unhappy on the district administration for not providing him 'Z-plus' security, Mahant Gyandas of Akhil Bharatiya Nirvan Akhada has warned of boycotting the royal bath if proper security arrangements were not made.

Many sadhus and mahants led by Gyandas arrived on Friday from Ayodhya to participate in the Kumbh Mela.

No police officer was present at the sadhugram except three policemen from Ayodhya; the mahant said adding a decision in this regard would be taken on Saturday at a meeting of akhadas.

Meanwhile, devotees, who gathered at Nasik road railway station, welcomed Gyandas and his team when they arrived by the Saket Express.
