"The match really set the tone for the World Cup today. I congratulate all the team members for this beautiful victory," said Harbhajan who watched the match at his residence.

"I also hope that Indian team will carry on same form throughout the tournament," he added.

Drag-flicker Sandeep Singh struck twice as hosts India outplayed Pakistan 4-1 in a thrilling Pool B match.

"It was a festival kind of atmosphere at my residence and sweets were also distributed after the match," Harbhajan said.
