Hardcore MULTA militant nabbed in Assam

A hardcore Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Asom (MULTA) militant was apprehended by security forces in Assam's Dhubri district on Tuesday, official sources said.

A hardcore Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Asom (MULTA) militant was apprehended by security forces in Assam's Dhubri district on Tuesday, official sources said.

Acting on a tip-off, the police and army launched a joint operation at Phonimari Part I village under Chapar police station and nabbed the ultra from his residence.

The security forces recovered two hand-made grenades from his possession, sources added.
