Haryana promotes 12 IPS officers

Haryana government has promoted eight IPS officers to the rank of inspector general of police (IG) and four IPS officers to the rank of deputy inspector general (DIG) of police with immediate effect.

Haryana government has promoted eight IPS officers to the rank of inspector general of police (IG) and four IPS officers to the rank of deputy inspector general (DIG) of police with immediate effect.

An official release said on Thursday that those promoted to the rank of IG were Navdeep Singh Virk, Shrikant Jadhav, Kala Ramchandran, Anil Kumar, Kuldeep Singh Siag, Dr Suman Manjri, Sat Parkash Ranga and Paramjit Singh Ahlawat.

Likewise, those promoted to the rank of DIG were Mamta Singh, Hanif Qureshi, Dr M Ravi Kiran and Krishan Kumar, said the release adding that Kala Ramchandran and Mamta Singh had been given proforma promotion as they were on deputation with Central government.
