Haryana Speaker returns official vehicles

Haryana Assembly Speaker Raghbir Singh Kadian today returned the two official vehicles given to him by the state government in view of the forthcoming elections to the state assembly.

Kadian has started using personal vehicles, official sources said in Chandigarh.

"Following the high traditions of the august office of the Speaker and adhering to the Code of Conduct during the elections, Dr Raghbir Singh Kadian, Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha has surrendered the two vehicles provided to him by the government," an official statement said.

Kadian was elected to the state assembly on a Congress ticket from the Beri assembly constituency in Jhajjar district in 2005.
