The Delhi High Court on Wednesday commuted an award of death sentence to life imprisonment.

The division bench of Justices RS Sodhi and PK Bhasin ordered on Wednesday that death sentence awarded to Sushil Kumar would be commuted to life imprisonment.

The order follows the cardinal principle of life imprisonment as a rule and death sentence in rarest of rare cases.
