The five-member bench constituted to look into the matter will be headed by Chief Justice Marakandey Katju.

The Delhi Police Commissioner has been ordered to restrain the 25 advocates from moving within 500 metres radius of various courts and tribunals in the city until March 8.

The orders were passed after an emergency meeting of the Delhi High Court that reviewed last Friday's vandalism of 26 courts in which four judges were also assaulted by the striking lawyers.

Speaking for the Bench, Justice Katju said an atmosphere of terror had been created by some of the advocates and that no leniency would be shown to them.
