HC seeks explanation of RPFC, recovery officer

THE ALLAHABAD High Court has issued notices to Regional Provident Fund Commissioner (RPFC) of Varanasi BS Singh and recovery officer Biswajeet Sagar. The HC issued the notices on a contempt petition asking them to explain as to why the order passed by the court on December 5, 2005 was not complied with.

THE ALLAHABAD High Court has issued notices to Regional Provident Fund Commissioner (RPFC) of Varanasi BS Singh and recovery officer Biswajeet Sagar.

The HC issued the notices on a contempt petition asking them to explain as to why the order passed by the court on December 5, 2005 was not complied with.

Passing the order Justice AP Shahi directed officials the matters would be listed for hearing after six weeks.

The Northern India Patrika /Amrit Prabhat Karmchari Sanyukta Morcha, filed the contempt petition through its secretary Mahendra Srivastava, Allahabad.

The court had issued an order on December 5, 2005, directing the officials to decide the claims of the petitioner within six months.

As the order was not complied with, the contempt petition was filed.
