HCBA demands withdrawal of cases against Meja lawyers

The delegation led by HCBA secretary Rakesh Pandey and advocate Veer Singh has demanded that the Tehsildar be transferred forthwith and departmental action be taken against him.
The DM has assured the delegation that action with regard to their demands would be taken at the earliest.
It is alleged that Tehsildar Meja has lodged some fake cases against president and secretary of Bar Association, Tehsil Meja. This has created strong resentment among the lawyers against the action of Tehsildar.
Secretary of HCBA, Rakesh Pandey, while condemning the action of Tehsildar, has urged the lawyers to maintain peace. He said that further line of action would be chalked out keeping in view the actions taken by the DM, Allahabad, as per his assurance.
Others who attended the delegation included Shesh Chandra Upadhyaya, Rajesh Singh, Pradeep Mishra, Rajendra Pandey, SPS Rathore, Irshad Ali, Rajiv Singh, Rajdev Tiwari, Manoj Nigam and others.
