THE HINDU Jagran Manch activists took out a rally here on Thursday against the BHU administration for serving show-cause notices to some teachers for participating in an RSS-sponsored programme.
The Manch activists urged the BHU to withdraw all the notices with immediate effect. The rally, taken out from Malviya Statue, after passing through Lanka area, culminated at the Banaras Hindu University Main Gate.
The Manch activists criticised the BHU administration for harassing some of its students for participating in the on-going agitation.
Earlier, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad activists took out a torchlight procession in Lanka area against the BHU administration in connection with the show-cause notice issue.
