Tension prevailed for a few hours at the airport's international terminal after the city police control room received the call at around 1.30 am that a bomb had been placed aboard the Emirates airlines flight from Dubai, they said.

Security personnel, including bomb disposal squad, were immediately informed and a thorough check was conducted when the flight arrived at 4.10 am but no bomb was found, sources said adding that the phone call was declared hoax.
