HOPE TEXTILE Mill tableau was adjudged the winner of this year?s traditional procession taken out on the 10th day of Annath Chaturdashi festival by a selection committee set up by the district administration.

Swadeshi Mill and Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) tableaux were jointly adjudged second and Kalyan Mill and Indore Development Authority (IDA) tableaux were jointly adjudged third.

Chhogalal Ustad Vyayamshala was adjudged the winner and Chandrapal Singh Vyayamshala and New Gandhi Adarsh Vyayamshala were adjudged second and third respectively.

The committee also chose some child artistes for felicitation by awarding them consolation prizes. Alpesh Yadav from Shiv Sarvajanik Vyayamshala, Hariya Kushwaha from Gazi Guru Vyayamshala, Ashish Pal from Dhanak Basod Vyayamshala and Nitin Sharma from Damru Ustad Vyayamshala were awarded consolation prizes.

The committee thanked the people of Indore for continuing the glorious tradition. It also praised public representatives, district administration, police, self-help groups, artistes, Nagar Suraksha Samiti and others associated in making the event a success.
