HuJI terrorist arrested in Jammu and Kashmir

A terrorist belonging to Harkat-ul-Jehad Islami (HuJI) outfit was arrested by security forces in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A terrorist belonging to Harkat-ul-Jehad Islami (HuJI) outfit was arrested by security forces in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said in Jammu on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip off, security forces launched a search operation in Pringal area of Chatroo belt in Doda district and arrested one terrorist last night, they said.

The terrorist has been identified as Mohammad Shafi, they said, adding one grenade, letter pads and some explosive material was recovered from him.

Shafi was sent to joint interrogation centre, they added.
