I enjoy playing under pressure: Sania

Tennis sensation Sania Mirza, who returned home on Wednesday after a good performance in the US Open, said was enjoying playing under pressure.

"A billion people expect me to win every time I step on the court," Sania said.

"That's the way it is and I enjoy playing under this pressure," said the 18-year-old before heading home to Hyderabad.

Sania, ranked 42nd, became the first Indian woman to enter the fourth round of the US Open before losing to top seed Maria Sharapova of Russia.

But now Sania's ranking is expected to shoot up to somewhere in the mid-30s - a feat that no Indian has ever achieved.
