She is far from being conservative. And if not all, she is willing to shed most of her clothes! Miss-India World 2005 Sindhura Gadde in a free-wheeling chat with HTTabloid.
You haven't received any offer from Bollywood? Do you think it is because you lack typical Indian looks?
I have been signed up for Hollywood's 'Adams Irish Mom La' but surprisingly I have not been approached by any of the Bollywood biggies. In fact, I have got offers for Telugu films. If I did not have Indian looks then I wouldn't have been approached by the Telegu film industry.
Normally, beauty queens are flooded with assignments by the film industry. Then what is the reason that you have not received any offer?
Probably Bollywood wrongly gathered the impression that I am a conservative.
Is it true that you look more like a stuntwoman than a sex kitten?
Had I not been sexy I would not have been crowned Miss World. I am known for my dusky looks, my height, my beautiful bums and boobs.
Do you think Bollywood would accept you?
I am very positive on this score.
What are your hobbies?
I like snow boarding, beach volleyball, skydiving, scuba diving, netball and basketball. But this does not mean that I am not sexy. In fact, I am all honey and butter from top to bottom.
Are you dating anyone?
I had a crush on my Geography teacher when I was studying in class VIII in Auckland. His name is Mr. Donald. He is really sexy!
Are you in touch with him?
No. But after winning the Miss World title I went back to my school in Auckland and then I mustered courage to tell him about how I feel for him but he laughed it away thinking it to be a joke.
Are you prepared to strip for success if the producer demands?
I am not prepared to shed all my clothes. But yes I am prepared to shed most of my clothes. Bikini shows would not be taboo for me for I love to play beach volleyball.
What else do you enjoy besides various sports activities?
I love Indian classical music, Latin ballroom, jazz and reading.
Very soon, the Miss India-World crown would pass on to some one else. How do you feel about it?
It would be hard to live without the glamorous title. But I also know that everything in life does not last forever.
Do you believe models are badly treated by our society?
Models enjoy great respect. But, sometimes they are badly treated by Indian conservatives who often think that all models are whores. This attitude is so sick. I think models in India need security to protect them from being sexually harassed while in a crowd during fashion events, beauty pageants and parties. Models are most susceptible to attacks by public and even by so-called decent people.
