A ctress Nisha Kothari is on a roll. The sexy siren is all set to play a journalist in her next flick, Shiva, opposite Mohit Ahlawat. Get ready to see her bespectacled. “It is only in some song sequences that you will see me looking glamorous,” says Nisha.
So, is image change on cards? “No, not at all,” she snaps. “In fact, it is important for a girl to look glamorous if she wants to do well in commercial cinema.”

Apparently, the actress looks forward to doing meaningful roles. “With time, and a variety of roles, I am sure they will change their opinion. I have to prove that I can be different,” Nisha adds quickly.

And what about bagging some awards? “It is too early to think about awards. I have just started and would rather like to concentrate on my work.” For the actress who made her debut with James, Ram Gopal Varma remains a mentor she can look upto.

“I listen to my heart. I always take advice from my mentor, Ramuji.” The actress insists that she is not really a fitness freak. “It’s better to take control,” she adds. Nisha will be seen in her glam avtaar again in Go, releasing this year.
