IBM launches new package for SMBs

"Packaged Services" is a first of its kind suite of offerings primarily targeted at small and medium businesses in India, who prefer "modular, easy to choose and easy to implement" solutions, the company said in a statement in Bangalore.

Packaged services will be made available for clients across the country, aimed at providing specific solutions to IT problems that directly impact their business, IBM said.

"The packaged services launched in India has an initial set of three offerings -- IBM eMail Security Services, IBM Security Assessment Service and IBM Site Assessment Services -- that will enable SMBs to address issues like security, compliance and business operations enhancement," it said.
