The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, will spruce up its wares to meet the demands of contemporary international management education in order to create a band of corporate executives ready for the global market.

Announcing the technology school’s future plans in Kharagpur, dean, Prof Prabir Gupta said all 85 students in the latest batch of IIT Kharagpur’s Vinod Gupta School of Management had been successfully placed in MNCs and leading Indian companies.

“These students are proving to be assets for Indian companies and we are gearing up to meet the demands of management education that matches world standards,” he said.

Apart from its flagship MBA programmes, the school had also introduced special diploma courses for the Air Force and Army this year, Gupta added.
