The A-320 aircraft, flying as IC 538 with seven crew members, was scheduled to take off at 10.15 am, but was brought back to the parking bay from runway after the error was detected, airport sources said.

The passengers had been deplaned and the sang was being rectified by technicians of the airline, they said.

"We hope there will not be any inordinate delay in departure of the flight," the airline sources said.
