Indian cricketers to raise funds for Iran earthquake victims

Indian and Aussie cricketers have signed a shirt worn by Steve Waugh in the 3rd Test in Melbourne to raise funds for victims of Iran quake.

Australian and Indian Test cricketers have signed a shirt worn by retiring Australian captain Steve Waugh in the third Test in Melbourne to raise funds for the victims of earthquake in Iran.

The framed shirt will be auctioned on the e-bay web site, and all funds will go towards the disaster relief.

Waugh said the disaster had an impact on all the players. "We've all been saddened by the news regarding the devastating and terrible loss of life," said Waugh.

"Our thoughts are with all those who have been impacted by this tragedy. It is difficult to comprehend destruction of this scale and we hope our donation will assist in the fund raising."
