The Kiwis too arrived from Rajkot after playing the three-day match against India-A, which ended in a tame draw.

Both the teams had nets and fielding practice for three hours each before retiring to their hotel rooms.

Meanwhile, according to the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) sources both Salvi and Balaji, who were playing in the Emerging Talent Series in Sri Lanka, are expected to arrive here tomorrow.

The Indian team will be going into this match with a new pair of opening batsmen - Virendra Sehwag and his Delhi teammate Akash Chopra - while middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh and leg spinner Sairaj Bahutule are the other new entrants in the 14 member squad which was announced yesterday at Rajkot by Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) secretary S K Nair.

The visitors, whose main batsmen including their skipper Stephen Fleming, middle order batsmen Nathan Astle and Scot Styris are yet to strike form, will be looking forward to the nets for the next two-days to get some much needed batting practice for the main players.
