Indo-Canadian charged with sexual assault

An Indo-Canadian teacher has been charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl he was tutoring, police said.

Mississauga-based Bhupinder Bath, 38, a self-employed tutor, was arrested for sexual assault and sexual interference, the South Asian Observer reported.

Bath's next court appearance is on January 9, 2006, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. Officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Bureau are investigating and are concerned that there may be more victims.
