Infosys to recruit engineering graduates

SOFTWARE GIANT Infosys is coming for campus placement to United College of Engineering and Research, Allahabad on March 4 and 5 to interview students of MTech, BTech and MCA 2004 and 2005 batches. The students from all the colleges in Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas will participate in the recruitment process.

The details— Place: United College of Engineering and Research, 31 A UPSIDC, Industrial area, Naini, Allahabad, Reporting time: 9.30 am on March 4, 5, 2006. Criteria: 65 per cent throughout except 60 per cent in case of class X and XII of UP and Bihar Boards.

Med/Mod History Department: The classes of MA Final (Modern History) paper-IV and MA-I (Additional Section) paper-II will not be held on March 2. The remaining classes of these papers will meet at the schedule announced earlier.

Iswar Saran Degree College: The principal has informed that the Defence Studies practical examination of BA/BSc second and third year will be held on March 5 at 10 AM. The examinees should report in the department at 9 AM. He further informed that the Defence Studies practical of BA-I would be held on March 8 at 10 AM for which the examinees should report at 9 AM in the department. The examinees of BSC first year should report at 1 PM.

‘Rally on wheels’
MEMBERS OF Sahyog, a legal cell, are organising a ‘Rally on wheels’ to commemorate International Women’s Day.

City residents from various institutions, schools, colleges, university and associations are expected to be a part of this rally. ‘Rally on wheels’ is being taken out on March 2 commencing from Allahabad Railway Station (city side).

It will be flagged off by chief family court judge Vijaya Luxmi. The rally will proceed to Johnstanganj Crossing, Hanuman Mandir Crossing, Nazreth Hospital, Hathi Park Crossing, St Mary’s College, Mayo Hall Crossing, Patrika Crossing while
moving towards Yatrik Hotel Crossing and culminate at Subhash Chauraha where a nukkad play ‘Cheekh’ will be presented.
