Dabi, who was on the way to New Delhi, said his government was tackling the insurgency problem and hoped to solve it very soon.

The home minister informed that while NSCN-K had set up camps in Tirap and Changlang districts, ULFA had its base in Choikham, Lamsai and Mahduban forest area while the NDFB had its presence in Papumpara, East and West Kameng and East Siang districts. The government has planned to raise a force named 'Arunachal Squad' with 150 security personnel in line with a similar one in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
