Jagan, who returned here after concluding his Odarpu (consolation) Yatra in Krishna district on Wednesday, met some of the legislators at his residence, party sources said.
In all, 26 MLAs loyal to Jagan -- 24 from ruling Congress and two Telugu Desam Party rebels -- had resigned from the membership of the Assembly on August 22, protesting the inclusion of late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy's name in an FIR filed by CBI in connection with the illegal assets case against the Kadapa MP.
The MLAs have decided to meet Governor ESL Narasimhan and Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar on September 5 and 6 seeking acceptance of their resignations, according to one of the pro-Jagan MLAs, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy.
"We will announce our next course of action after that," Balineni added.
Jagan will leave for his family estate at Rajiv Knowledge Valley in Kadapa to pay homage and attend a prayer service on the second death anniversary of his father Rajasekhara Reddy on September 2.
