“While Konkan is burning, Uddhav is on a holiday where he is taking pictures of tigers in Kanha forest. What then gives him the moral right to speak for the people of Konkan...” said NCP legislator Jitendra Avhad.

A Sena spokesperson responded, “ So what if he is in Konkan? He does not have to be there every time; other leaders have gone there. He led the agitation and it has been successful...” he said.
