Jalandhar continued to remain the coldest place in the plains on Tuesday with the minimum temperature dipping to 0.6 degree Celsius.
Amrtisar followed it at 2.6 degree Celsius.
The minimum temperature at Halwara was 3.2 C, 6.4 C at Pathankot, 3.6 C at Chandigarh, 2.6 C at Ambala, 5 C at Bathinda, 2 C at Udhampur and 7.4 at Jammu.
The weatherman has forecasted cloudy weather in the region on Wednesday.
