Jammu: 20-yr-old girl's body found in gunny bag
The Police have recovered the body of a 20-year-old girl wrapped in a gunny bad from the coach of Ahmedabad Express at Jammu Tawi Railway Station here.
The Police have recovered the body of a 20-year-old girl wrapped in a gunny bad from the coach of Ahmedabad Express at Jammu Tawi Railway Station here.
"The passengers informed the General Railway Police about the gunny bag and foul smell emnating from it when Ahmedabad Express yesterday reached Jammu Tawi Railway Station."
They said the GRP men acted swiftly and seized the bag.
"The body was recovered from the bag," police said,adding that it was sent to the Government Medical College and Hospital mortuary for legal formalities.
"Identity of the girl is yet to be ascertained," the police said, adding that investigations are in progress.
In another incident, the body of an unidentified old man was also found under mysterious circumstances at Railway Station last evening.
A case has been registered and investigations are in progress.
