People in the media were just trying to take advantage of sensationalism

He may be couch-jumping happy, but when it comes to joy, actor Tom Cruise thinks that journalists are the least happy people in the world.

Cruise, who has seen media attention escalate after fiancée Katie Holmes gave birth to the couple’s daughter Suri recently, said that for him, people in the media were just trying to take advantage of sensationalism, and that he thought that they were really "unhappy" people.

"When I look at the people who write or say these things, I realise it's not a lot of people doing it. It's just a few people, trying to take advantage of sensationalism. Because when I meet these people, they really seem unhappy to me. And that's too bad. Because I'm happy," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
