Judicial remand for Aseemanand extended

The special designated court of National Investigation Agency (NIA) today extended the judicial remand of Swami Aseemanand, an accused in four-year old Samjhauta Express blasts, till June 20.

The special designated court of National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday extended the judicial remand of Swami Aseemanand, an accused in four-year old Samjhauta Express blasts, till June 20.

According to information, Aseemanand was presented in the NIA court through video conferencing from Ambala Central Jail, permission for which had already been granted by the NIA court recently.

Meanwhile, it may be recalled the court had also issued non-bailable warrants of three may accused of Samjhauta blasts case namely Ramchandra Kalsangra alias Ramji alias Vishnu Patel, Ashwini Chauhan alias Ashok alias Prince and Sandeep Dange alias Parmanand.
