Pretty Woman star Julia Roberts’ eagerly awaited movie Eat, Pray, Love will begin promotional tours to destinations where the film was shot, including India.

Eat, Pray, Love

will begin promotional tours to destinations where the film was shot, including India.

The versatile actress will be seen playing the role of the 32-year-old American author, Elizabeth Gilbert, in the movie. The plot revolves around a middle-aged, happily married woman, who in her attempt to get pregnant, realises her life needs to be something else. After a painful divorce, she takes off on a yearlong spiritual trip to India, Italy and Bali.

Film merchandise, as a part of the promotions, will include furnishings from the film, bracelets, necklaces, perfumes, T-shirts and tea. Tour operators, internationally, will also be offering packages called the

Eat, Pray, Love Experience

, where customers will get the chance to dine in Italy, meditate in India and fall in love with Bali.

The film is due to release in August.
