Singh, a two-time MLA, filed a complaint with police in which he said he got six such threat calls. The caller introduced himself as a member of Bolo Jungle Party, an indirect reference to Maoists in the district, spokesman of East Singhbhum district JVM committee, Ram Murty said in Jamshedpur.

While the first call was received at about 08.15 AM, the last call came at around 03.17pm, Murty said.

SP Navin Kumar Singh said he had been intimated about the incident by party leaders but Arvind Singh did not meet him personally in this regard as yet.
