Kachha Baniyan gang strikes thrice

KACHHA BANIYAN gang members struck at three villages last night under Khorabar police station. The armed members attacked three houses in different villages and looted thousand of rupees along with valuables. Elevent persons, including four women, sustained injuries in the attacks and condition of two injured was reported to be critical. According to reports, the gang members first attacked the residence of Ravindra Singh at Nai Basti near Kusumi Bazar under Khorabar police station.

The armed members attacked three houses in different villages and looted thousand of rupees along with valuables. Elevent persons, including four women, sustained injuries in the attacks and condition of two injured was reported to be critical.

According to reports, the gang members first attacked the residence of Ravindra Singh at Nai Basti near Kusumi Bazar under Khorabar police station. The incident occurred at around 11.30 pm but the daring firing by Hariprakash Nishad, a zila panchayat member, and neighbour of Ravindra Singh forced the members to run away.

At least 10 members attacked the residence of Ram Chandra Pasi at village Kothi under the same police station around 1.30 am. They injured Pasi sleeping in the veranda and asked him to give the key to the house. Hearing Pasi’s cries, his family members Pappu, Dinesh, Asha and Seema came out. However, they were attacked. The dacoits looted thousands of rupees and ornaments.

In the third incident, members of the same group attacked Shanker Gupta’s house at around 2.30 am and looted Rs 30,000 along with valuable items.
