Kaneria felicitated

"Kem cho" (how are you) was how Pakistani leg-spinner Danish Kaneria addressed a gathering of the Gujarati community in Jamshedpur.

Pakistan's leg-spinner Danish Kaneria was felicitated by the Gujarati community in Jamshedpur on Thursday.

After prior approval from the district administration, the Pakistani spinner was brought amidst tight security arrangement to the Gujarati Sanatan Samaj premises where he was felicitated by the Gujarati Sanatan Samaj, Gujarat Club, Jamshedpur and Jamshedpur Gujarati Samaj.

"Kem cho" (how are you) was how Kaneria addressed the gathering but admitted that he did not know Gujarati much.

Acknowleging the warm welcome accorded to him, Kaneria said he had been attracted towards the game since childhood and was proud to be the member of Pakistan team.

Later, Kaneria also visited the Jalaram temple in Bistupur, where he offered puja for some time.

Kaneria was also felicitated by the people from Gujrati community at the the temple.
