One hit jodi replacing another, flavour of the season, is hardly a new story. But Saif and Kareena conceding defeat to Akshay and Katrina certainly makes for a brow raising headline.

The latest buzz is that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have backed off as it's Akshay and Katrina's hit pair in the competition.

International Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's upcoming movie De Dana Dan's release would have clashed with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Kurbaan on November 27, 2009.

But producers of the film Kurbaan have stepped back and have rescheduled release of the film. Now Kurbaan will release a week before, on November 20, 2009.

Kurbaan is also starring Vivek Oberoi and Diya Mirza and De Dana Dan is loaded with Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal.

Trade reports would be interesting to track on these two films.
