Pop singer Katy Perry has denied reports that she and her fiance Russell Brand are to wed in India.

Rihanna recently announced that the couple was planning to visit India to exchange vows but Perry says her friend has got it all wrong, reports starpulse.com.

"I heard a rumour that someone dropped where we were getting married on a little radio program... I have not told her (Rihanna) where we are getting married. She thinks we were getting married in India," said Perry who got engaged to Brand while holidaying in India last year.

Perry refused to reveal her wedding plans.
