Jaison George, a resident of Kochi, will attempt the musical feat here.

He will begin playing at 12.00 p.m. July 5 and stop at 4.00 p.m. on July 7.

According to the rules, of the total 52 hours, a break of not more than 10 minutes can be taken after an hour. But the total break period should not exceed 120 minutes during the entire duration.

A.J. Robi, the organiser of the event, said officials from the Guinness and the Limca Book of Records will oversee the keyboard playing.

"So far playing of the keyboard has not been written into either of the record books. George has earlier played the keyboard non-stop for eight hours, without even taking a minute's break," said Robi.

George, who recently completed a course in the Bible, began playing the keyboard at the age of 14 and has won several awards. He has been preparing for this event for two years.
