Kerala Home Minister falls ill
Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan stumbled and fell after he was taken ill in the West Bengal Assembly premises where he had gone to pay homage to Jyoti Basu here today.

Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan stumbled and fell after he was taken ill in the West Bengal Assembly premises where he had gone to pay homage to Jyoti Basu here today.
Kodiyeri, 56, was on a platform along with CPI-M General Secretary Prakash Karat, Politburo members Sitaram Yechury and Brinda Karat and other leaders when he fell.
Other leaders caught hold of him and took him inside a room, an official at the spot said.
