Giving this information to media persons here on Friday, convener of Khet Bachchao Kisan Sangharsh Samiti, Hira Lal Yadav said former Prime Minister VP Singh, national president of the Jan Morcha Raj Babbar, general secretary of the CPI AB Vardhan, Subhashini Ali, Sunnit Chopra, Amar Singh Kushwaha, Akhilendra Pratap Singh, Vishwanath Shashtri and Brijendra Pratap Singh will address
There is a proposal to establish a high-tech city between Rohania and Mohansarai in Varanasi.
The villagers and farmers under the banner of Khet Bachchao Kisan Sangharsh Samiti have been raising this issue for several months.
Hira Lal said local farmers would not allow the multi-national company and the state government to acquire fertile land of farmers and displace them in the name of setting up high-tech city.
He said besides VIPs, prominent farmer leaders would also address the rally.Yadav said leaders would give a call to oust the multi-national company involved in the project.
Hira Lal added that future course of action would be decided at the rally.
